Fort LeBoeuf dropped down to 8-4 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a 34-17 bruising from the Hickory Hornets. The Bison gained 174 more yards on the day, but it was the Hornets that made the best use of them.

Although Fort LeBoeuf took the loss, they still got scores from Brady Black and Dominic Walters.

As for Hickory, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.7 points on average over those games.

Leading Hickory to victory were Kelvin Morrison and Christian Dungee. Morrison rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns, while Dungee rushed for 120 yards and one TD on only nine carries. Morrison has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last seven times he's played.

Fort LeBoeuf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hickory, they will face off against Sharon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
