Softball Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Pierce lost to Los Molinos back in March of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears lost 10-3 to the Bulldogs. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Citlali Acevedo made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Anayeli Acevedo, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Pierce's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Los Molinos, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, Pierce will head out on the road to challenge Maxwell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Los Molinos, they will host Live Oak at 3:00 p.m. on the 20th.
