Volleyball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Has No Trouble Against Castle

After losing to Castle the last time they met, Tri-West Hendricks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Caroline Ward paced Tri-West Hendricks' offense, picking up 18 kills. Ward got some help from Grace Hargis and her 34 assists. Ward also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Blair Benner, racking up three apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Castle lost, don't look at Karsyn Wilhelmus. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two assists. Wilhelmus is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Tri-West Hendricks' record is now 2-0.

Tri-West Hendricks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Providence on the 16th. As for Castle, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Avon on the 16th.
