Deep Run has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hermitage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Deep Run will square off against Hermitage at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Deep Run duked it out with J.R. Tucker on Friday. Deep Run's pitchers stepped up to hand J.R. Tucker a 13-0 shutout. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2024.

Brooke Wommack was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Gabby Chrapek and Brooke Black did most of the damage at the plate: Chrapek went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two triples, while Black fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two triples gave Chrapek a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Pawlewicz, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Deep Run was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as J.R. Tucker only posted a batting average of .188.

Meanwhile, Hermitage got the win against Varina on Friday by a conclusive 22-5. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Hermitage back to even at 1-1. As for Deep Run, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Everything went Deep Run's way against Hermitage in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Deep Run made off with a 7-0 win. Will Deep Run repeat their success, or does Hermitage has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
