Football Game Preview: King Jaguars vs. Brooks Eagles

The King Jaguars will head out to challenge the Brooks Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. King will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Saturday, King needed a bit of extra time to put away Westinghouse. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 22-20 win over the Warriors.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last game, Brooks made sure to put some points up on the board against Johnson on Saturday. The Eagles breezed past the Pumas to the tune of 38-8. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

King now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Brooks, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

King was taken down by Brooks 54-14 when the teams last played back in September of 2021. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Jaguars were down 29-8.
