Volleyball Recap: Jade Hagan Key Part of Team Effort in Wildcats Win

Northview barely beat Springfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

Northview walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jade Hagan, who had 14 digs. Hagan is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Narewski, who had seven digs and three aces.

Northview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Northview's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Springfield, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will challenge Lake at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Springfield, they will square off against Archbold at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
