Football Recap: Big Foot Takes a Loss

Big Foot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Horicon/Hustisford, falling 40-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 41-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Big Foot still got an impressive performance from Valleck Channing, who rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Channing also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles.

Big Foot's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Horicon/Hustisford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Big Foot will challenge rival Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Horicon/Hustisford is set to face off against their familiar foe Turner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
