Baseball Recap: Rochester Takes a Loss

Rochester suffered their biggest loss since March 25th on Monday. They came up short against the Leechburg Blue Devils, falling 18-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

Braeden Siget and Justin Schurr stepped up to the plate in a big way. Siget went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Schurr earned two runs and three stolen bases. Siget has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Rochester now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Leechburg, their record is now 11-2.

While Rochester had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
