Baseball Recap: Fruitdale Comes Up Short

Fruitdale blew McIntosh out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday McIntosh got their revenge. The Pirates fell just short of the Demons by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pirates have suffered since March 20, 2024.

Fruitdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Cochran, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Fruitdale has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for McIntosh, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

As of now, neither Fruitdale nor the Demons have any future games scheduled.
