Fort Bend Travis barely beat Fort Bend Elkins the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 48-28 margin over the Knights on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Elkins still got an impressive performance from David Red, who rushed for 95 yards on only six carries, and also threw for 85 yards and one touchdown. Tyson Craft helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.

Fort Bend Travis' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fort Bend Elkins, their record now sits at 3-3.
