Basketball Recap: Arroyo Comes Up Short

Arroyo was the 63-48 winner over Mission San Jose when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Arroyo Dons lost to the Mission San Jose Warriors at home by a 59-42 margin on Saturday. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arroyo's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Mission San Jose, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Arroyo will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against KIPP King at 7:00 p.m. As for Mission San Jose, they will head out on the road to take on Moreau Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Mission San Jose's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
