Meanwhile, Hopkins County Central took a serious blow against Bullitt East on Saturday, falling 65-23. Hopkins County Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
McLean County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Hopkins County Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went McLean County's way against Hopkins County Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2021 as McLean County made off with a 63-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for McLean County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
