Basketball Game Preview: Stone Tomcats vs. East Central Hornets

Stone hasn't had much luck against East Central recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Stone Tomcats will take on the East Central Hornets at 4:00 p.m. Stone has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Stone turned things around against Vancleave on Saturday. They took down the Bulldogs 43-29.

Meanwhile, East Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Stone on Friday, taking the game 41-29.

East Central has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Stone, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16.

Stone came up short against East Central in their previous meeting on Friday, falling 41-29. Can Stone avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
