Volleyball Recap: Boyd's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If Boyd was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Graford on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Brock Eagles on Saturday, falling 3-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Yellowjackets were not able to get on the board.

Despite the loss, Boyd still got an impressive performance from Bryleigh Wallace, who had 26 digs and two assists. Wallace has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boyd fell to 5-1. As for Brock, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Boyd has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Godley on the 16th. As for Brock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Decatur on the 16th.
