Soccer Recap: Seaholm/Groves Comes Up Short

After flying high against Renaissance last Thursday, Seaholm/Groves came back down to earth. The Maples fell just short of the Berkley Bears by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Seaholm/Groves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Berkley are ranked 41st).

Seaholm/Groves' defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Berkley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-5.

Seaholm/Groves does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berkley, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Royal Oak on the 30th.
