Silver Posts Huge Game in 42-21 Defeat
Starting off the list is River Forest's Ayden Silver, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Silver rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 174 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.
River Forest's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4. Silver and River Forest will face off against Lake Station Edison at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mark Rowland Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Mark Rowland's big game helped extend Boone Grove's winning streak to three on Friday. Rowland made a major impact, throwing for 161 yards and five touchdowns. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 3.2 passing touchdowns per game.
