Basketball Recap: Provo Skates Past Jordan with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Provo walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Jordan Beetdiggers 64-29. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 25 points or more this season.

Provo found their leader in freshman Sage Yenchik, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Asha Alleto, who posted nine points.

Provo pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Jordan, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10.

Coming up, Provo will face off against Dixie at 9:10 p.m. on Thursday. Provo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
