Basketball Recap: Smoky Mountain Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Smoky Mountain won the last time they faced North Henderson, and Aaliyah Voss did her part to make sure it happened again. The Smoky Mountain Mustangs blew past the North Henderson Knights 56-25 on Friday thanks in part to Voss, who went 8 for 13 en route to 22 points and three steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kieaira Ensley, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Smoky Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. As for North Henderson, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Smoky Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-40 defeat against West Henderson on the 28th.
