Basketball Game Preview: Herriman Mustangs vs. Bingham Miners

The Herriman Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Bingham Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Herriman had to suffer through a 71-22 loss at the hands of Mountain Ridge. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maddi Little was Herriman's leading scorer, having posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Bingham faced Riverton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Bingham strolled past Riverton with points to spare, taking the game 47-31.

Herriman better keep an eye on Addy Horsley. She was instrumental in Bingham's win, putting up 14 points and four steals. Iman Finau was another key player, posting four points along with 14 rebounds and three blocks.

Bingham's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Herriman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Herriman strolled past Bingham in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 46-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Herriman since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
