Football Recap: Lake-Lehman Takes a Loss

Lake-Lehman fell victim to Wyoming Area and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Warriors, falling 28-0. The Knights have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Nick Ciampi was his usual excellent self, rushing for 108 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries for Wyoming Area. The Warriors also got a significant boost from Trustin Johnson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 100 yards.

Lake-Lehman's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wyoming Area, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Lake-Lehman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-0 defeat against Hanover Area on the 17th. As for Wyoming Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 60-7 win against Greater Nanticoke Area on the 17th.
