Priory entered their tilt with South Fork on Thursday with ten consecutive wins dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cubs 103-42. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Cubs are ranked 894th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Priory to victory were Mate Palotai and Jai Gerrodette. Palotai went 11-for-13 to rack up 25 points along with eight boards and four steals, while Gerrodette shot 55% from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and four steals. That's the most points Gerrodette has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Teddy Xanthopoulos, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Priory's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for South Fork, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Priory has already played their next game, an 87-30 win against Averroes on the 5th. As for South Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-50 victory against Point Arena on the 5th.
