Basketball Recap: Pittsville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Pittsville hadn't done well against Wild Rose recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Pittsville Panthers took down the Wild Rose Wildcats 58-41. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pittsville's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Wild Rose, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsville will welcome Wonewoc-Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wild Rose, they will take on Northland Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
