It's playoff time, and Fairfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 45-39 win over the Western Indians on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Western, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Coming up, Fairfield will square off against South Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. South Webster knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Fairfield likes a good challenge. Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
