Basketball Recap: Throckmorton Takes a Loss

Throckmorton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Nocona Indians 75-12. The game marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Throckmorton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Nocona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Throckmorton will square off against Southwest Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Throckmorton likes a good challenge. As for Nocona, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-45 win against Holliday on the 5th.
