Baseball Recap: Auburn Riverside Has No Trouble Against Auburn Mountainview

Auburn Riverside never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over the Auburn Mountainview Lions. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Ravens considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Auburn Riverside let Andre Muneton and Cole Svendsen run wild. Muneton went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Svendsen went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Muneton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Soto, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Auburn Riverside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Auburn Mountainview, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.
