Baseball Recap: Redwood Christian Takes a Loss

Redwood Christian lost against San Lorenzo back in March of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redwood Christian Eagles lost 9-2 to the San Lorenzo Grizzlies. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Redwood Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Fanucchi, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Tyler Skjong also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Redwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for San Lorenzo, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Redwood Christian will host St. Joseph Notre Dame at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Lorenzo, they will square off against Tennyson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
