Basketball Recap: BASIS Flagstaff Find Success

While BASIS Flagstaff has struggled at home with five straight losses, that wasn't the case on Tuesday thanks to Daniel Quiroz. The BASIS Flagstaff Yetis put the hurt on the Rough Rock Sun Devils with a sharp 54-33 victory thanks in part to Quiroz, who went 6 for 11 en route to 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

BASIS Flagstaff's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Rough Rock, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.

BASIS Flagstaff will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Many Farms at 6:00 p.m. As for Rough Rock, they will venture away from home to square off against Grand Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
