Basketball Game Preview: Grant Generals vs. Putnam City Pirates

Grant is 0-5 against Putnam City since December of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Grant Generals just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Putnam City Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with 40 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Grant turned things around against Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College on Monday. They blew past Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College 70-31.

Meanwhile, Putnam City faced Norman North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Putnam City came out on top against Norman North by a score of 54-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Putnam City's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Grant, their win ended a 24-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-16.
