Recap: Gig Harbor Tides vs. Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks
Despite a strong season so far, The Gig Harbor Tides have seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. Their rough 28-7 defeat to Marysville-Pilchuck on Saturday might stick with them for a while.
Benji Park threw for 264 yards and a touchdown. Matthew Ehler was his top target, picking up 77 receiving yards.
Gig Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Marysville-Pilchuck, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Gig Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marysville-Pilchuck will head out on the road to face off against Yelm at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Yelm is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
