Greenville is 2-8 against Penquis Valley since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Greenville Lakers will host the Penquis Valley Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Greenville humbled Deer Isle-Stonington with a 53-18 victory. The game marked the Lakers' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Penquis Valley came into Friday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 48-42 W over Piscataquis on Friday.

Penquis Valley's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11. As for Greenville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
