Baseball Recap: Windham Eagles vs. Massabesic Mustangs

Windham extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They came up short against the Massabesic Mustangs, falling 13-2. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Massabesic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Massabesic's part, Noah Bryan was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. What's more, Bryan posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Henry Marcotte, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Logan Hajdysz was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
