Linn posted their closest victory since April 11th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Iberia Rangers, sneaking past 3-1. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 5-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Linn's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Kubiak, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Linn and bumps their season record up to 14-11-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Iberia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Linn nor Iberia have any future games scheduled.
