Softball Recap: Halifax Academy Takes a Loss

Halifax Academy lost against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Halifax Academy Vikings lost 8-1 to the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots.

Halifax Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Barlow, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Halifax Academy now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Halifax Academy will welcome Harrells Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, they will take on Roanoke Rapids in a tournament on Saturday. Roanoke Rapids is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
