Softball Game Preview: Lawrence County Bulldogs vs. Padua Franciscan Bruins

The Lawrence County Bulldogs will challenge the Padua Franciscan Bruins at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Lawrence County needed a bit of extra time to put away Tri-County North. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 6-5. Those six runs were actually the fewest the Bulldogs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Padua Franciscan's offense. They lost 11-0 to Bullitt East on Tuesday. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrence County's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 9.1 runs thus far As for Padua Franciscan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
