Softball Recap: Strasburg-Franklin Takes a Loss

Strasburg-Franklin was the 15-4 winner over North Ridgeville when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Strasburg-Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for North Ridgeville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Strasburg-Franklin will square off against East Canton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for North Ridgeville, they will challenge Mt. Vernon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight.
