Haleyville and Deshler are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions face off against the Tigers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Haleyville is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Haleyville came up short against Muscle Shoals and fell 10-7.

Haleyville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Cagle, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Deshler, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Austin get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday.

Deshler's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs over those games. As for Haleyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Haleyville might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Deshler when the teams last played on Saturday. Can Haleyville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
