Concordia Lutheran waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders by a score of 6-1. This was payback for the Crusaders, who suffered a 6-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Conner Jones made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Jones was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Griffin Lyczkowski, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Cole Lanclos, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
