Softball Recap: The Bay School Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valley Christian on Tuesday, The Bay School came back down to earth. The Breakers fell 12-7 to the University Red Devils on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Breakers in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.

Audrey Ball made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

The Bay School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for University, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Bay School will host Making Waves Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University, they will welcome Redwood Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
