Greensville County typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Brunswick proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Greensville County Eagles 57-54. The victory was the fourth in a row for Brunswick, bringing their record for this year to 13-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Greensville County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 15-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brunswick will challenge Southampton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greensville County, they will face off against Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
