Susquenita put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Central Cambria Red Devils as they made off with a 16-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won nine matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Ayahna Fleisher was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tierney Stuempfle, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylah Fleisher, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

Susquenita lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Susquenita's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Central Cambria, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Susquenita will square off against Schuylkill Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Blackhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Central Cambria, they will face off against Bald Eagle Area at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
