Basketball Recap: Cabool Takes a Loss

Cabool was the 67-66 winner over Winona when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Cabool Bulldogs were outmatched by the Winona Wildcats and fell 58-24. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cabool's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Winona, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Cabool will head out to square off against Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on January 3rd. One thing working in Seymour's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Winona, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-44 defeat against Gainesville on the 28th.
