Preview: Attica Red Ramblers vs. Tri-Township Tigers
The Attica Red Ramblers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Tri-Township Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Attica is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Attica, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 29-15 loss to Fountain Central. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Attica in their matchups with Fountain Central: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Tri-Township put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 45-35 victory over North Judson-San Pierre.
JAYDE PRYOR and Addie Gorski were among the main playmakers for Tri-Township as the former scored 14 points along with six rebounds and the latter scored 18 points. PRYOR is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.
Attica has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Tri-Township, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.
Attica ended up a good deal behind Tri-Township in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, losing 45-27. Can Attica avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
