Volleyball Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss

Clarkston lost against Woodland back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Angoras took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack.

Among those leading the charge was Toni Benefield, who had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.

Clarkston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Woodland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Clarkston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Fellowship Christian on the 16th. As for Woodland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Northview on the 16th.
