Baseball Recap: Pinellas Park Takes a Loss

Pinellas Park was the 5-4 winner over Largo when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pinellas Park Patriots fell just short of the Largo Packers by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingston Le made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

Pinellas Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Largo, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinellas Park will challenge IMG Academy White at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Largo, they will face off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
