Baseball Recap: Jasper Wins Going Away Against Greencastle

After only one run in their last matchup, Jasper made sure to put some runs up on the board against Greencastle on Saturday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tiger Cubs with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win got Jasper back to even at 3-3. As for Greencastle, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Jasper will face off against Evansville Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greencastle, they will challenge White River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
