East Juniata managed to keep up with Selinsgrove until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers came up short against the Seals, falling 3-0. East Juniata have struggled against Selinsgrove recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

East Juniata's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Selinsgrove, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Juniata will square off against Millersburg at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. This will be East Juniata's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Selinsgrove, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hughesville at 7:00 p.m. on September 3.
