Baseball Recap: Bonita Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against McArthur last Wednesday, Bonita Springs came back down to earth. The Bonita Springs Bullsharks took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Springs Colts on Wednesday.

Bonita Springs got a good showing from Harrison Kalina, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Kalina has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Bonita Springs' loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Coral Springs, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonita Springs will face off against American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coral Springs, they will take on Archbishop McCarthy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
