Soccer Game Preview: Freedom vs. Gar-Field

Freedom is 2-8 against Gar-Field since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Freedom has given up an average of 4.1 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Freedom is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Forest Park, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that Freedom have lost by exactly eight goals.

Gar-Field, on the other hand, haven't lost since April 1st and they too continued that trend. They never let Patriot get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. Gar-Field might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

Gar-Field's win bumped their record up to 12-1-2. As for Freedom, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Freedom suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Gar-Field in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
