Baseball Recap: Mingo Central Miners vs. Mount View Golden Knights

Mingo Central had lost 13 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-15 to make it 14. They came up short against the Mount View Golden Knights, falling 9-2. If the Miners were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Golden Knights when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mingo Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keziah Joplin, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run. Dylan Mounts also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
