Arlington's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Rancho Verde Mustangs 7-1. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Lorena Ricasa, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Ryleigh Pliego was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

Arlington's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Rancho Verde, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will challenge Liberty at 3:30 p.m. on April 1. Arlington's pitchers better be ready for this one: Liberty has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Rancho Verde, they will take on Fontana at 3:30 p.m. on April 1.
